How long have you been using the Mac platform? In addition to Chris
and Sherm's responses, I'd like to address the usability standpoint.
What exactly does your tool do? Why is file drag-and-drop so important
to its function?
I ask this because the approach you describe is an unusual UI
metaphor on the Mac and, rather than try to shoehorn the metaphor into
a platform that does not generally work that way, you should seriously
contemplate whether the effort is worth it, especially considering
that just getting it to work doesn't mean users will want to actually
*use* it on their completely-differently-working OS.
Just a thought. :-)
