Thanks for the answers so far.
If I update the values to anything other than NULL or 0 CoreData
deletion does work, otherwise enters the endless loop.
I can delete tracks through the sqlite client but this is not how it's
supposed to be done since CoreData should have all the control with
the persistence store.

on a record.
Maybe you can try update the value to something different from the
NULL value and try again the delete with coredata.
