You don't need to make a subclass. Just change the view directly.
[[[template templateViews] objectAtIndex:2]
setDatePickerElements:...]
Are the order of the views returned by templateViews guaranteed to
remain constant or is it best to iterate over them looking for
particular objects? NSDatePicker in this case.
The order is constant.
