NSView modifies CALayer's masksToBounds?

  • Subject: NSView modifies CALayer's masksToBounds?

Is there a way to stop an NSView from modifying its CALayer's masksToBounds property?

It looks like it's making the change during a frame resize. It's making a call to some internal selector called _updateLayerMasksToBoundsFromView. AFAIK, there's no way to turn on or off masking from the NSView level, except for maybe - wantsDefaultClipping. Is that the way to do it?

Thanks,

Mike
