Dockless app key bindings

Hi guys,

I'm new here and I would like to ask something. I have a Cocoa application that is reduced to StatusItem - no dock, no main menu. Now there is an issue with textfields in my preferences window. Since there is no main menu, there is no Edit menu with Copy, Cut and Paste. Because of this the copy-paste shortcuts don't work on textfields.
Could you please either point me to a place in documentation or explain some basic steps I should take to make this work? I know my app isn't perfect but I did in a relatively short time and I learned Obj-c and Cocoa on the go, so I'm pretty proud of it.

Thank you all
