Interesting; I hadn't noticed that because of the white border I use. Drawing the WebView itself seems to fix that problem.


The problem still is that you can't really grab an arbitrary rect of the rendered canvas which was my hope when accessing the documentView directly.

I tried messing around with the documentView and saw similar problems to what you described. If you want an arbitrary rect, I'd guess you could create a bitmap at the full size of the view and draw it, then crop that bitmap. Or maybe get the [documentView enclosingScrollView] and mess with that.
