I have a subclass of NSScrollView in which I'm also using a custom NSScroller subclass.

If I am unarchiving from a NIB, I can set the object classes for the NSScroller to my subclass.

However, there doesn't appear to be an API to specify the class of the scroller used when I alloc+init an NSScrollView, nor does there seem to be an API to replace the default scrollers with my custom scrollers.

Have I overlooked the solution?

Yes. There are public accessors to replace the scroller.
