A quick look on StackOverflow suggests the code should go into viewDidAppear:animated:. Itching to try this but I have to run to work...


-viewDidLoad only means that the view controller's view was loaded, it does not mean that it is in a view hierarchy yet.
-viewDidAppear: or -viewWillAppear: make more sense here.
