Does anyone have a clue what I could try next, or does anyone know of any alternative to parsekit?

You could run ConvertCocoa64, or manually adapt the code to use the new 64-bit numerical type macros.

On 32-bit, CGFloat == float, so the compiler didn't complain when it saw two -floatValue methods. On 64-bit, they're not the same, so the compiler complains.

Also, you might have to deal with code calling ceil, floor, etc. The recommended approach is to #include <tgmath.h> and use the macros defined therein.
