Did you get Snow Leopard as part of a new computer? If so, then even if you acquire Leopard, you might not be able to use it. With a very small handful of exceptions, every new computer Apple has made will not run versions of the OS older than the OS that comes bundled with the computer. You can get around this by using a virtual machine, but then you need Leopard Server instead.
