This sample is very outdated.

It sounds like you are trying to use a source list but targeting the Leopard (10.5) SDK. Is that correct? I'm assuming this because the cell doesn't implement:

- (NSUInteger)hitTestForEvent:(NSEvent *)event inRect:(NSRect) cellFrame ofView:(NSView *)controlView;

which would cause the problems you see on Leopard. However, if you are using Leopard, just set the source list highlight style in the nib.

I am trying to use Matt Gemmell's iTableView (Source List and Colored Checkboxes):

It includes a SourceListTableView subclass of NSTableView.

The problem is that the checkboxes within the table are not being unchecked/checked.

Do I need to implement a keydown event in SourceListTableView? If so, how do I do this so that the proper checkboxes are checked/ unchecked?
