1. It's Xcode, not XCode, xCode, XCODE or any other variation.

2. You want the xcode-users mailing list. A clue that this was the wrong list was the fact that you thought it necessary to prefix your subject line with [XCode]...

3. In answer to your question, not as far as I know. There are some similar things (e.g. the "Place Accessor Defs on Clipboard" script, which you can find under the script menu in Xcode), and you could write something similar to do what you're talking about here I'm sure. FWIW, my guess is that this is an area that will improve in future versions of Xcode, not least because of the direction things are headed with LLVM.
