Dynamically register document types

  • Subject: Dynamically register document types

hello,

I have a program that uses plugins for supporting a wide range of documents.

Is there a way to tell Launch Services to include new file types if I install a new plugin?

I only found a discussion on cocoadev (http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?DynamiclyRegisteringDocumentTypes ) where it says I have to update the info.plist. Is there any other way?

Thanks
