Does anyone have a simple example of how to encode and decode a
CGPoint struct using NSCoder?
You can always use NSValue's +valueWithPoint:. You will have to
convert to NSPoint (which is virtually a no-op) via
NSPointFromCGPoint().
Except that NSKeyedEncoder doesn't support encoding NSValues with
NSPoints (or NSRects, etc...) - you'll get a run time exception if you
try.
(I believe NSEncoder will work with, just not NSKeyedEncoder, and were
suppose to use NSKeyedEncoder)
