Since I'm not really interested in spell checking, but rather another Dictionary-based service it seemed like a page that describes how "developers can have their applications interact with and extend these Apple applications" might be a reasonable starting point.

Thanks for the other reference, though. I'm not sure it's related, but I'll have a look. _______________________________________________
