Override Font Tool and Colors Tool

My application deals with embroidery.

To be Mac I want to use the tool bar with the fonts and colors tools.

Because fonts and colors mean something different in this environment is it de rigueur to override these with my specific panels?

I don't want the UI Fuzz after me!
