data binding using shared user default controller

Hello,
I have had a question regarding how to bind my data with "Shared User Default Controller".
Usually, I can establish a binding between the data and with a controller key, Values with the specified key path in the user default controller. I wonder is it possible that I bind my data with a specific item in a dictionary in the shared user default. The reason I do this is because I have a number of keys I want to group together instead of putting them separately. And more importantly how to do it either in Interface builder or programatically.
Thanks in advance,
Pan
