(note: i posted this to the applescript implementors list earlier this week, but i haven't received any replies. i'm reposting here in the hope that someone here may be able to help. my apologies if this is a violation of the rules.)

if i call -[NSScriptCommand suspendExecution] whilst execution a script command, i find that the executing script will still time out after 2 minutes.

is this a bug in cocoa? or a misunderstanding on my part about suspendExecution?

thanx,
ken

p.s. for the record, my code seems to work fine and the subsequent, matching -[NSScriptCommand resumeExecutionWithResult:] works fine and returns the appropriate result. i'm just surprised that the script still times out even though i've suspended the command.
