[OT] default boot device

Hello. I installed another version of MacOS X in a separate partition of my hard disc. And now whenever i start the computer, it boots from that partition by default (unless i press option to select the partition to boot from this time). How can i permanently change the primary boot device to my initial one? Sorry if this is too off-topic.
