Keychain access and Automator action code signature

  • Subject: Keychain access and Automator action code signature

[Note: I did send this email originally to the automator-dev mailing list 2
weeks ago but received absolutely no response nor saw any traffic. Since
it's Cocoa related, I'm now trying here.]

Hi,

I have written an Obj-C action that access the Keychain to retrieve the
username / password it requires. On Leopard, When using the action within
the Automator application, it works fine. However, when saving the workflow
as an autonomous application and using it this way, access to the Keychain
is denied:

*(error -67061: "code or signature modified") *

I tried playing with the settings of the item the action is accessing in the
Keychain, but without success (unless you check "Allow all applications to
access this item" of course).

Any idea?

PS: I haven't tested on SnowLeopard yet.
