No, you just need to make sure that whatever controller you're using
conforms to NSEditorRegistration.  NSControllers already do, but your
text field might be bound to some other controller that isn't already
a subclass.

Either way, the precondition is that you're binding to a controller,
not directly to your model.  And of course that you're using bindings
in the first place.
