is GC not available on 10.5.8?

Hi, I compiled using Xcode3.2 on 10.6.1, 10.5 base sdk and for Intel 64- bit only with GC only option. The program compiles fine, but the following error is there when launching it on 10.5.8 system: (window doesn't appear)

EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGABRT)

Dyld error message:
unknown required load command: 0x80000022
