'auto rearrange content' option missing from NSTreeController, workarounds?

Hi all,

NSArrayController has the handy 'setAutomaticallyRearrangesObjects' aka
'auto rearrange content' option. However, NSTreeController does not. :(

I'm curious why. But in any case, I'm looking for a way to keep my
NSOutlineView 'always sorted'. After inline editing, undo, redo, adding
a new item, etc. Must I detect all types of things that require
resorting and call rearrangeObjects?

Thanks,
