I filed one a while ago, although it was on the lack of a documented method to get the attributes of a symlink. I just updated it with the information that the documentation is apparently incorrect. I'd still like some word from Apple employees on whether I can rely on the current behavior, though - if they end up changing the actual implementation to match the documentation rather than the other way around, it would cause problems if I were depending on the current behavior. Also, I no longer have Leopard installed to verify that this behaved the same way there, so at this point I'm still pondering whether this method is safe to use or not.
