Hi,

I've created a minimal boot USB stick sort of thing for emergencies. Basically what I did was take my Snow Leopard DVD, strip packages and unwanted things out, then make a LaunchDaemon that executes a script to launch whatever app I want. Right now the background in this minimal interface is just a plain grey background.

But I noticed that with LCA.app which comes on the OS X installer DVD (/System/Installation/CDIS) loads a background when launched. I'm wondering how this is accomplished

Thanks
