CoreRecipes Sample Code Data Model Error

Apple's CoreRecipes Sample Code Version 1.0 produces the following error.

Couldn’t open “/Users/ ... /CoreRecipes/Sample Applications/ CoreRecipesApp/MainApplication/Models/CoreRecipes.xcdatamodel”.

Reason: *** -[NSKeyedUnarchiver initForReadingWithData:]: incomprehensible archive (0x62, 0x70, 0x6c, 0x69, 0x73, 0x74, 0x30, 0x30).

Does anyone know how to get the data model to work for the CoreRecipiesApp?
