Hi!
I attended a small Mac conference in Frankfurt today and was inspired
by a talk given by Frank Illenberger who talked about derived
properties in Core Data. Unfortunately he couldn't give out the code
for the cool stuff he was showing. So I sat down right away to
implement it myself. You can find the result here on github:
http://github.com/jfahrenkrug/turbo-derive
The readme on github will tell you everything you need to know.
Basically I'm trying to implement a pain-free KVO-compliant way to use
and update derived properties with CoreData.
I'm by far no Core Data expert and this is very very alpha: I coded it
in between sessions and late at night in my hotel room, so please
don't be too harsh. Any feedback and help is appreciated.
