Wave form graph through Core Audio?

  • Subject: Wave form graph through Core Audio?

I'm working on generating a wave form for a sound bite, but I'm stuck in Core Audio, which seems to be not over-documented, so to speak.
All I need for now is an array of integers, based on some sample rate, for a given sound file, but most of Core Audio seems to target more complex functionality. Are there any code snippets around for sampling a sound file?

Regards,
Izak
