NavCreateChooseVolumeDialog will do, thanks. I was trying to find a sample code that uses the function in the net, but none so far, any idea where I can find a sample code for this function?

Carbon has a call just for this (NavCreateChooseVolumeDialog) but I
don't see anything so easy for Cocoa. You can get a list of volumes
with NSFileManager, get their icons with NSWorkspace, and then build
your own sheet, maybe using NSTableView.
