On iOS 4 there's a method on NSMutableURLConnection to do this (something like setHTTPShouldUsePipelining:). If you need a solution for iOS 3.x, I'm afraid I've been trying to find one for a long time, and short of writing pipelining yourself, I don't think there is one.
