AddressBook framework with remote contacts?

  • Subject: AddressBook framework with remote contacts?

Hello,

We are interested in using the AddressBook framework (specifically, the people picker view) but we haven't found a way with the CocoaPeoplePicker code example to show remote contacts (via LDAP, Exchange, or CardDAV) under 10.6. Does the Address Book framework not support remote contacts?

It seems that AppleScript will not search any remote contact databases either. Is there any way we can allow the user to pick a contact in a shared contact database?

Cheers,
