System preference File Sharing

 Hi All,

I have an application where in I need to list the local shared folders only if "File Sharing" is enabled and smb check box is checked. Is there any way I can know if "File sharing" is checked and "Share files and folders using SMB" is also checked for the shared folder.

Currently I have used nc to check if 139/445 port is enabled or not. This works fine only if file sharing is checked. If "Printer Sharing" is also checked then the port scan fails. As 139/445 ports are enabled for "Printer Sharing" (even if File sharing is turned Off). Is there any way to check if smb local file sharing is enabled or not.

Thanks in advance
Steve.
