Weird "iPhone OS 4.0 Library" dialog popping up

I've installed beta 3 of the new iPhone OS 4 SDK. From time to time a dialog pops up now titled "iPhone OS 4.0 Library - To download this update, log in to Apple Developer Connection at connect.apple.com. Your login information will be sent securely." asking me for name and password. This looks extremely suspicious to me. Has anyone an explanation for that?
