NSUTF8StringEncoding and umlauts

Hello,

I load an utf-8 textfile from a server with

[NSString stringWithContentsOfURL:url encoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding error:&err]

and non ascii characters are still not right, e.g. "ü" becomes "ÃŒ". is that a problem on my end or on the server side?

thanks and regards,
