i5 & i7 auto graphics switching

Is there a way to be notified when the graphic card is switched?

Some flags in CGDisplayRegisterReconfigurationCallback perhaps?

I am trying to keep track if physical displays on multi-screen systems.

With NSScreen, the screen number will change if for example the user has a
laptop with an external screen. If the external screen has the menu bar,
then it is 1 and the laptop is 2, but unplug the external screen and the
laptop becomes #1.

Similarly with CGDisplayIDs, those change when the graphic card switches.

So how can I detect graphic card switches?

Thanks,

Trygve
