Rogue Research is looking for a motivated individual to join our team of software developers to help make the next generation of neuronavigation equipment for the neuroscience community.
We are currently looking for a Cocoa Software Developer.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the Brainsight neuronavigation software.
- Maintenance of our existing Cocoa application and its test suites.
- Improve and debug existing code; write new code.
- Implement new features in our application; add new test suites.
- Participate in design activities and code reviews with team members.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of object oriented programming.
- Experience with an OOP language (Objective-C, C++, Java, etc.).
- At least 1 year experience programming professionally.
- Experience with source control systems, particularly svn.
- Able to work both in a group and independently.
- Knowledge of UNIX environments, particularly Mac OS X.
- Work on-location in Montréal, Québec, Canada (no telecommuting).
- Need legal right to work in Canada.
Useful:
- Experience with the Cocoa frameworks.
- Experience with Objective-C, C, and C++.
- Bachelor in Computer Science/Engineering or similar.
- Knowledge of linear algebra & 3D transformations.
- Knowledge of OpenGL.
- Knowledge of VTK and ITK open source libraries.
- English/French bilingual.
