Yeah, it’s a strange problem because this file gets rewritten from scratch all the time — not just every time you alter anything in your iTunes library, but even after playing songs (because the file includes play-counts.) So even if it got corrupted somehow, it would be replaced quite soon thereafter, if the user is actually using iTunes.
