We should keep in mind that this could be an enterprise app that would not necessarily be for sale on the App Store.
Enterprises can distribute iOS apps (along with a Profile) independently of the App Store.
(OS X server is one method.)
So, perhaps, some asset tracking system?_______________________________________________
