Global HotKey

Hello List,

I need to add global hotkey support to my cocoa application. I have googled quite a bit, but it currently it seems to me there is no way to set hotkeys with cocoa. The only way I was able to find was to use carbon. But since carbon is to be deprecated I do not want to use it.

After the user is logged in, my application (agent) is started in the background, when the user presses a hotkey (no matter what he is doing right now) I want my agent to do a few things and then display an response like an image or something. How can I set/define this hotkey from within my code? Any help is appreciated.

Best Regards,
Daniel Ketel_______________________________________________
