Thanks for the reply. I don't have many attributes here goes:

	[textView setTextColor:[NSColor colorWithCalibratedWhite:(250.0f / 255.0f) alpha:1]];
	NSShadow *textShadow = [[NSShadow alloc] init];
	[textShadow setShadowOffset:NSMakeSize(-0.5, -1)];
	[[textView textStorage] addAttributes:[NSDictionary dictionaryWithObject:textShadow forKey:NSShadowAttributeName] range:NSMakeRange(0, [[textView textStorage] length])];
	[textView setFont:[NSFont boldSystemFontOfSize:10.0]];
	[textShadow release];

In the meantime fortunately I found that I was able to fix it by removing setTextColor: and inserting this:

	[textView setAlphaValue:.99];

I'm happy that I was able to fix it but still doesn't make sense that I had to change code to get the same look right? I did not run a diff I can try that. I don't know if this is a common problem to have small issues like this when changing the main work setup, but I had no choice since we can't run 3.2.6 on Lion...

Thanks again I appreciate it!
