Wow.  I remember a similar bug if you had a category in a framework, way back in Mac OS 10.3!  Read these…

However, 6 months later, after updating to Xcode 3.1.1, the workaround I published at the end of that second thread no longer worked.  I gave up and dropped support for Mac OS 10.3 at that point.
