Finding per-process network usage?

  • Subject: Finding per-process network usage?

[I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, please direct me there if it's wrong]

I'm trying to monitor the network traffic of applications by process but I'm having trouble working out how to query the system for that information. I've been looking at sysctl() and while I have some (antiquated) kernel experience, I'm having trouble navigating the data structures. Can anyone give me a few pointers?

Thanks,

	Ben.
