I don't know if this will catch double-side or not, but in the past I've had to use PMFlattenPageFormat and PMFlattenPrintSettings for other reasons, but of course that means using PMSessionPageSetupDialog and PMSessionPrintDialog (and PMCreateSession and PMCreatePageFormat and PMSessionDefaultPageFormat and PMCreatePrintSettings and PMSessionDefaultPrintSettings)...
