... my name is Marcus Strassmann, I am living in Germany and a new subscriber to this list.

I started off with programming databases back in 1988, using a Mac and the first Version of 4th Dimension, a DB RAD system.

I am relatively new to iOS programming, having started with a crash course in 2010 and following the Stanford Uni course CS193P (iPhone Application Programming) on iTunesU.

My first "official" App is called ItellU and allows scanning the barcodes of audio books and streaming publisher provided audio clips associated with them. I integrated the ZBar library as well as the AudioStreamer material provided by Matt Gallagher (great stuff!).

For the moment, the only content available is in German, since the app was mainly designed for the german market.

Having said that, I hope we can share a productive and relaxed time together.

Regards

Marcus Strassmann
