Core Data loading faulted object?

Hi. I'm seeing a situation where my app starts up, fetches all instances of a particular entity (which is just one), and that object ends up being a fault. This is right after startup, although instances were deleted in the previous run of the app.

What's going on here? How can I avoid this situation?
