The only ones I can think of would be ‘dfil’ for desk accessories, and ‘APPC’ and ‘cdev' for control panels, and ‘APPD’ and ‘APPE’, which I’m not sure what they’re for but which nevertheless do exist.

Probably the best way to go is to check the UTI rather than the type code, though. That way, even if there are some others that I’m missing right now, they’ll still conform to com.apple.application.
