Deploy terminal app

Hi every one.

I just finish a simple command line tool thats may help my fellows in the office and I wonder how can I deploy it.
I try search the web but there is no much info about develop command line app for Mac.

My intention is to copy the executable and a man page to the right place and create some files and folder. I think I can do this with a simple script, but I'm looking for the "right" way.
Any ideas?
