Sandbox is not yet finished. On the dev forums, the sandbox engineers
(or DTS representatives) have been rather responsive to the needs of
developers. I would not be surprised if we see a better solution for
persisting access rights.

In the meantime, everyone should be filing Radars about the things
that sandboxing prevents their apps from doing.
