Howdy!
My company launched a (completely free) verification service for in-app purchases on iOS, designed for apps that do not have a server-side component.
The service, called Beeblex, requires only minimal set up—we provide a simple SDK, which we have also open-sourced, and we perform the validation against Apple's IAP services through our own services. It is really free—we don't even collect any information we don't absolutely need to run it.
