How to prevent UITableView from scrolling when inserting in CoreData?

Hello.

I have a UITableView and a NSFetchedResultsController. I’ve implemented to NSFetchedResultsController delegate methods in my custom controller object. The problem I have is when I receive data from the server and store it in the CoreData database, if the current sort makes the inserted rows appear above the currently visible row, the tableview will scroll down, which is quite annoying.

Is there any way to prevent this?

Thanks for any pointer, info or help!

-Laurent.
